Paris Summit for the Mediterranean

On July 13rd 2008, during the Paris Summit for the Mediterranean, only one document was distributed to all the participants. This report, entitled “The Blue Plan’s sustainable development outlook for the Mediterranean”, has been written by the entire Plan Bleu's staff and is available in three languages.

This document reviews the main causes of the trends to 2025 for the region and informs about seven major stakes for development: water, energy, transport, urban areas, coastal areas and marine environment. It concludes with some tracks to make Mediterranean to become a space for sustainable development cooperation.

The document can be downloaded in English, Arabic and French.
