What's next after Bali, which perspectives?

What's next after Bali, which perspectives? Such was the title of the conference organized by Sciences Po on January 15 th, 2008 in Paris and to which Plan Bleu was invited to contribute to. The round table gathered together Rajenda K. Pachauri, President of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, Secretary of State in charge of ecology, and Nicolas Hulot. The conference was facilitated by Laurence Tubiana, director of the Chair of sustainable development at Sciences Po. The exchanges made it possible to highlight the relevancy of the stakes, for which there is no room for doubt, the urgency of the situation and consequently the relevance of the next conferences in Poznan and in Copenhagen, which will decide on the period after-2012 in terms of objectives definition and share, of coordination of efforts so as to reduce emissions, and adaptation of practices to changes.
