Certification ISO 9001:2000 On 18th of February 2009, Plan Bleu got the certification ISO 9001:2000. This certification is the fruit of Plan Bleu’s application started since the beginning of 2008, in order to set up a quality management system which concerns its products, its organization and its communication. |

On behalf of MAP, Oliver Keserue took part in the regional forum organized by CEDARE (Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region), which was held in Cairo the 9th and 10th of February 2009. He presented the modes to adapt the legal framework of the Barcelona Convention to the electronic waste management in the Mediterranean – highly harmful land-based waste. 150 participants, including the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, donors (World Bank), United Nations Agencies (UNIDO, UNESCO, UNEP DTIE,…), as well as industrial sponsors (FT-Oange, Mobinil), were gathered together for this first forum on this hot topic. |
Second Water‘s Week in Beyrouth Henri-Luc Thibault took part in the Second Water‘s Week in Beyrouth, from the 4th to the 7th of February of this year. Initiated by M. Fadi Comair, Hydraulic and Electric resources’ Lebanon General Director, this event, which purpose was to contribute to the Mediterranean message to be delivered on the 5th World Water Forum in Istanbul on the 15th to the 22nd of March 2009, gathered more than 240 participants, water experts’, Mediterranean administrations officials in charge of this area, sponsors, academic and associative officials. |
