5th Urban Research Symposium

The 5th Urban Research Symposium took place from the 28th to the 30th of June 2009 in Marseilles. This symposium was organized by the World Bank in partnership with the French Development Agency and the Ministry of Ecology. IPEMed "Mediterranean 2030" seminar

From 25th to 27th of June 2009, Luc Dassonville took a part in the activities of the “Mediterranean 2030” prospective seminar which was organized by the IPEMed in Bussy-Saint-Georges, near Paris. This project’s aim is to produce a collective work that will present alternative scenarios during the next summit of the Union for the Mediterranean in 2010. This work will integrate Blue Plan systemic’s and prospective’s analyses on the relations between environment and development in the Mediterranean.

First « sustainable development » Ministry Meeting of the Union For the Mediterranean

Green Week of the European Commission, Brussels, 23-26th June 2009

On the occasion of this Green Week, organized this year on the climate change theme, the Blue Plan presented its works on this phenomenon’s impacts and adaptation in the Mediterranean region. The entire participants took much interest in the works, thus expressed by several collaboration requests’ coming from NGO’s as well as International and National Institutions’.
