Workshop “Sustainable urban development and governance
for public utilities in Morocco”
Plan Bleu took part in the workshop “Sustainable urban development and governance for public utilities in Morocco” (February 4th, Rabat - Morocco), organized by IRD, National institute of urban planning (INAU-Rabat), National school of architecture (ENA-Rabat) and Moroccan association of architecture and urban planning research (AMRAU-Rabat), with the financial support of Caisse des Dépôts - Institut CDC pour la Recherche. Julien Le Tellier presented the main lessons of the case study about trends and perspectives of the urban mobility in Tangiers, with focus on territorial governance and institutional working at local scale issues. This workshop is the first step for the development of projects and networks of partners on public utilities’ governance in Maghreb. A publication is scheduled in 2010.
