3rd International Workshop of the Mediterranean Wetlands
Observatory

Jean-Pierre Giraud participated to the Third International Workshop of the « Mediterranean Wetlands Observatory» organised on 7-10 February 2010 by Tour du Valat with RAMSAR and MEDWET.

This Meeting gathering about 50 representatives of international institutions and initiatives and Mediterranean countries allowed to:

• Review the on-going activities including the work on priority indicators;
• Specify the 2010-2011 program on indicators, 2010 report, communication strategy and civil society involvement;
• Strengthen the partnership in validating the governance structure and specifying the expected contribution of each partner.
