Steering Committee of Plan Bleu Tourism Activity Programme

On the 29th of April 2010, the Villa Valmer premises in Marseilles hosted the steering committee of the Plan Bleu Tourism Activity Programme.

It brought together the main partners of the programme, the French Development Agency (AFD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the PAP/RAC, the French Conservatoire du Littoral and the Professeur Mohamed Larid (Algeria).

Laura Martinez, Julien Le Tellier, Ioannis Spilanis and Philippe Vallouis presented the activities on progress. The orientations for the 2010-2011 programme were also validated after a fruitful debate organized around the following issues: Mediterranean Strategy for Sustainable Development indicators, sustainability of tourism destinations in the Mediterranean, Air transport and Tourism, cruising and yachting.
