Mediterranean Dialogue on framing Sustainability in Water
Policy evaluation

Mohammed Blinda, Blue Plan's Water Programme Officer, participated at the final conference of the SWAP project (Mediterranean Dialogue on framing on Sustainability in WAter Policy evaluation), that was held on 24 and 25 November at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari. SWAP project intends to stimulate communication and dialogue on the policy evaluation in the Mediterranean agricultural water sector.

The conference brought together the SWAP partners and the different local and regional key-actors, with the aim to secure a good dissemination of results beyond the local stakeholders fora established in the case studies and improve the awareness of policy makers and politics on the need of linking policy implementation with societal, local needs and with sustainability criteria.
