Profiles of Sustainability in some Mediterranean tourism destinations

In collaboration with the Coastal conservation agency of Sardinia and the Marine Protected Area of Cabras Municipality, the Plan Bleu organized the second meeting of coordination of the project “Profiles of Sustainability in some Mediterranean tourism destinations“ in Cabras (Sardinia, Italy) on 24-25 June 2010.

Coordinated and moderated by Ioannis Spilanis, professor at the University of Aegean, Julien Le Tellier and Laura Martinez, this meeting mainly aimed at presenting to the experts group -who carry out the cases studies- the progress report of the project and the first synthesis elements, as well as at discussing about the difficulties, the considered alternatives for the data collection, and the next steps of the project.

The meeting concluded on a roundtable with local stakeholders and people involved in the MPA “Penisola del Sinis Isola di Mal di Ventre”.
