Launching of the Marseilles Center for Mediterranean Integration

On Friday 9th of October, Henri-Luc Thibault represented the MAP/UNEP at the launching of the Marseilles Center for Mediterranean Integration (MCMI).
This centre aims to strive as a “network of networks” intended to favour the coordination and synergies between the different stakeholders committed in the promotion of a more sustainable development in the Mediterranean region.
The MCMI is organized around five clusters interested in urban development, water and environment, transport and logistics, employment and mobility of labor, knowledge economy. At this stage, it comprises about fourteen programmes piloted or leaded by the institutions members. The programme dedicated to economic analyses is piloted by the MAP/Blue Plan.
