Mediterra 2009 entitled “Rethinking rural development in the Mediterranean” is the result of the Blue Plan and CIHEAM cooperation. It assesses the agricultural and rural implementation of the Mediterranean Strategy on Sustainable Development (MSSD) and brings a fresh look at the policies implemented in rural areas. This book aims to provide strategic assessment criteria on agricultural and rural development for policymakers, professionals and researchers in the Mediterranean. It will progressively be available in five languages (French, English, Spanish, Arabic and Italian).
