Seminar “Transport and the TEN-T in the Mediterranean Area”

On February, 4 th 2010, Philippe Vallouis took part to the “Transport and the TEN-T in the Mediterranean Area” Seminar, organised in Murcia (Spain) by the Intermediterranean Commission of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe (CPMR).

During this Seminar, which gathered around a hundred people, Blue Plan presented the results of the prospective led jointly with the AFD; these results give a warning on the influence of trades from Asia by 2025 and that might disrupt a Mediterranean integration.

This integration concern should guide the works of the white book on the Trans-European Transport networks programmed for 2010 as well as Europe’s help and intervention mechanisms.
